Fitness Equipment Sales Manager

Bodypower Sports Ltd is a successful retail and distribution business with an annual turnover of over £30m. We pride ourselves on providing an outstanding customer service experience to every customer.
Salary and BenefitsThe base salary for this role is £34,000 per annum, with an uncapped discretionary bonus scheme from day one. In addition to your salary, you will also receive:
- 40 hours per week, normally working 5 days a week on a rolling rota;
- Store and individual incentive bonuses, expected to be circa £5-8K+ pa on top of basic salary;
- 21 days' holiday entitlement per annum (plus statutory bank holidays);
- Personal use of in-store equipment after hours;
- Great staff discount (following probation);
- Full product training and induction;
- Free car parking.
We are looking for a Store Manager at Bodypower Sports Ltd who will:
- Provide an unsurpassed in-store experience for our customers;
- Sell high-quality fitness equipment face-to-face and over the phone and Live Chat;
- Achieve sales targets by analysing the needs of the customer and making informed product recommendations;
- Ensure the store maximises profitability and meets sales targets and KPIs, as you will have full accountability;
- Manage and motivate a team for continuous increase in sales and efficiency;
- Deal with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff and conducting performance reviews;
- Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met;
- Ensure that the store maximises sales opportunities;
- Communicate with customers, the team, and Head Office in person, over the phone, and by email;
- Comply with regulations on store operations;
- Monitor staff behaviour, attitude, and presentation to ensure they are a positive reflection of the retail store's values;
- Share product knowledge with customers and with store team members.
The successful candidate will have:
- At least 3 years management and sales experience;
- The ability to deliver targets and drive sales growth;
- A desire to work as part of a team to generate fresh and innovative ideas.
