Document Controller

We are seeking a skilled Document Controller to join our Mechanical and Electrical office. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining project documentation and ensuring accurate information is distributed throughout the organisation.

The key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Setting up, copying, scanning and storing documents
  • Creating templates and managing requests for documentation
  • Filing documents and digital records and ensuring appropriate storage
  • Reviewing and maintaining the accuracy of records, editing where necessary to ensure they are up to date
  • Liaising with and distributing project-related information with all levels of the project team and potentially external parties
  • Managing the process around documentation within the organisation
  • Maintaining confidentiality around sensitive documentation
  • Providing project ad-hoc reports on project when required
  • Performing general administrative tasks to support the project teams

Requirements:
  • Computer literacy with the ability to use Microsoft packages i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook & Teams/Sharepoint
  • Experience of Viewpoint/Aconex or similar is desirable but not essential as training will be given
  • At least 2-3 years document controller experience within the building/construction sector
