Job Title: Voter Registration Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Voter Registration Director to join our team at the Asian American Community Fund of PA. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our voter registration program, developing and implementing strategies to increase voter registration and turnout in Asian American communities across Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive voter registration plan, including setting and tracking voter registration goals, timelines, and strategies.
  • Collaborate with community organizations, civic engagement groups, and API PA staff to build relationships and coordinate voter registration efforts.
  • Conduct training and capacity-building sessions for community leaders and staff on voter registration best practices and strategies.
  • Manage and track voter registration data, including metrics and outcomes reports.
  • Support the Community Fund's Deputy Director and Executive Director with voter registration-related development work, including program planning and grant drafting.
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of experience working in a nonprofit organization or personal experience organizing in Asian American communities.
  • Demonstrated experience with facilitation and training related to voter registration programs.
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and writing communication skills.
  • Commitment to social and economic justice, and knowledge of issues affecting Asian American communities in Pennsylvania.
  • Google Suite (Docs and Sheets) proficiency is required.
Work Environment:

This position is remote with travel required within Pennsylvania for in-person events and meetings 1-3x monthly, as needed.

Applicants should be able to work on a computer including sitting at a desk for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation; manual dexterity to operate a keyboard; able to see or read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; able to speak clearly and in audible tones on the phone and in-person and be understood by others; able to hear and understand speech, including on the phone; able to understand and follow oral and written instructions; able to occasionally lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds, etc.

Employment Terms:

This position is a full-time role at 40 hours per week and has an estimated salary range of $60,000-$80,000 annually, depending on experience. This position is exempt.
