Position: Commercial Vehicle Maintenance Specialist

Location: Stockton-on-Tees

Compensation: Up to £34,000 base salary + performance-based incentives – OTE exceeding £40,000

Our client, a prominent player in the automotive sector with a substantial turnover and a dedicated workforce, is seeking a Commercial Vehicle Maintenance Specialist to enhance their dynamic service team. The organization is recognized for its commitment to delivering exceptional service and is experiencing continuous growth. They are in search of a proactive individual who can independently contribute to the efficiency of the service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Executing diagnostic evaluations on commercial vehicles to pinpoint issues and deliver precise repair solutions.
  • Carrying out standard maintenance procedures, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake assessments.
  • Repairing and substituting components, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Performing comprehensive vehicle inspections to detect potential issues and avert future complications.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and effectively communicating with clients to ensure outstanding service and satisfaction.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Level 3 NVQ in automotive maintenance and repair or an equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Commercial Vehicle Maintenance Specialist or in a comparable role.
  • Expertise in diagnosing and rectifying various mechanical and electrical challenges in commercial vehicles.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate efficiently both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service abilities.
