Job Summary

Central London Community Health Trust is seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Deputy Team Lead in our Community Nursing Service. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and forward-thinking individual to join our dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care in the community.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of nurses and providing clinical guidance and support to ensure the delivery of evidence-based care to patients in their homes. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of nurses in the delivery of community nursing services
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to team members
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with patients and their families
  • Contribute to the development of new community pathways and services
  • Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with current UK NMC registration
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience at band 5 Community Nurse level
  • Management experience and proven leadership ability
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of community nursing practice
  • Ability to work autonomously and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
