Job Overview

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurses/Community Psychiatric Nurses (Band 6 CPNs) to join our expanding Crisis & Home Treatment Team. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients experiencing acute mental health symptoms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive support to patients and their families.
  • Work effectively within the Crisis Home Treatment Team, aiming to prevent hospital admissions and facilitate early discharge for individuals experiencing acute mental health challenges.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions.
  • Demonstrate strong clinical skills in managing acute mental illness, including risk assessment, medication management, and crisis intervention.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures.

Essential Requirements

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current registration.
  • Proven experience in managing acute mental illness, case management, and multidisciplinary team collaboration.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Mental Health Act, risk assessment, and infection control protocols.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
