About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Account Handler to join our Financial Lines (Emerging Markets) team. As an Account Handler, you will act as a liaison between clients, producers, and underwriters to ensure new business, renewal, and midterm requirements are fully understood and best met through the provision of suitable cover, appropriate pricing, and efficient servicing.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will also have a strong motivation towards starting out a career in insurance and be eager to learn and develop your skills.

This is a starter role with full training and continuous development provided. You don't need prior insurance knowledge, but a willingness to learn and adapt quickly is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the team in managing policy renewals and endorsements, including preparation of necessary documentation.
  • Assist in the analysis of client data, claims history, and risk assessments to provide insight for policy recommendations.
  • Work closely with brokers, underwriters, and other team members to facilitate client transactions and ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Take responsibility for data entry, credit control, and chasing policy subjectivities where required.
