About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Subject Improvement Lead for Humanities. This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of humanities subjects, including history, geography, and Religious Studies. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving improved attainment in these subjects across our secondary schools, through embedding best practice and building capacity in line with our policies and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve teaching, learning, and curriculum in humanities subjects.
  • Provide coaching and support to humanities subject leaders to build their capacity and expertise.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver high-impact intervention programs.
  • Analyze assessment data to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted interventions.
  • Develop and deliver training and coaching for humanities teachers to improve their practice.
