Insurance Assurance and Controls Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake assurance and control reviews of all processes across Insurer Services, including supplier elements
- Provide full and clear visibility of all controls and assurance activities and ensure all controls are in place and effective
- Ensure the right level of assurance is in place across all processes in the most effective way, with visibility and tracking of all assurance activities and subsequent review actions
- Support coordination of any deep dive reviews and assurance activities for specific regulatory, conduct and performance outcomes, driving and tracking identified actions through to successful delivery
- Maintain and update regular reporting for the departments assurance and control performance and support any regulatory and cross-functional initiatives or activities
- Work with 2nd line colleagues and 3rd line parties to support strong working partnerships – attend meetings, coordinate reviews and provide updates/reports as required
Requirements:
- A strong understanding of assurance and control requirements, ideally within an insurance/claims setting
- Strong communicator and influencer, with the ability to drive cultural change and the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong investigatory and analytics skills, able to compile concise reporting from multiple sources
