Job Title: Education Support Specialist - Wandsworth

About the Role:
This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives as a dedicated Learning Mentor in a well-regarded school in Wandsworth. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students across various abilities, ensuring they are engaged, motivated, and progressing in their learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide academic support across various subjects, assisting students with their learning and encouraging independent study.
  • Offer mentoring and guidance, helping students with personal development, confidence-building, and goal setting.
  • Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs, creating a safe space for them to engage and thrive.
  • Liaise with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to ensure each student receives the support they need to succeed.
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to help drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in an educational setting, ideally as a Learning Mentor or in a similar role (e.g. TA, SEN support).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • A proactive and empathetic approach to supporting students' individual needs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • A passion for education and supporting students to achieve their full potential.
