Deputy Head of Corporate Communications and Stakeholder Engagement

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Deputy Head of Corporate Communications and Stakeholder Engagement to join our team at South West London Integrated Care Board. As a key member of our communications team, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering effective communications and engagement strategies to support our organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of corporate communications and stakeholder engagement strategies to support the delivery of our organisational objectives.
- Provide strategic communications and engagement support and advice to senior stakeholders, including the Deputy Head of Communications, Media and Engagement.
- Collaborate with the wider team to develop and deliver integrated communications and engagement plans to support our South West London priority programmes.
- Deputise for the Head of Corporate Communications and Stakeholder Engagement at internal and external events and meetings as required.
- Interpret national guidance from NHSE and best practice guidance from other respected bodies to support the implementation of effective communications and engagement strategies.
- Master's level education or equivalent level of experience in public affairs, stakeholder management, internal or corporate communications.
- Extensive knowledge of specialist areas, including website development and stakeholder engagement.
- Member of a relevant professional body.
- Significant experience of successfully operating in a politically sensitive environment and highly charged political environment.
- Problem solving skills and ability to respond to sudden unexpected demands.
- Previously responsible for a budget, involved in budget setting and working knowledge of financial processes.
- Demonstrated experience in a Healthcare environment.
- Experience of setting up and implementing internal processes and procedures for digital engagement and web development, as well as stakeholder management.
