About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented R&D Scientist to join our team on an 18-month fixed-term contract. This role is fully site-based and will transition to a weekend position after the initial training period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to EHS policy, LSO profile, and other site guidelines.
- Record data meticulously in electronic notebooks.
- Develop and execute study plans and experiments.
- Prepare, filter, and store buffers and media.
- Perform and develop non-standard assays and procedures for project work.
- Conduct CHO cell culture in various formats.
- Monitor culture stations daily for cell growth, viability, metabolites, and various process parameters.
- Perform assigned lab chores.
Qualifications:
- Degree: BSc or MSc in Life Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or Molecular Biology.
- Experience: Recent graduates are welcome.
- Experience with Ambr15, cell culture, and automation is highly desirable.
