We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Practitioner to join our team at Scottish Autism. As an Autism Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with autism to live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement personalized support plans to meet the unique needs of each individual.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Autism Practitioner and team members to ensure high-quality support.
- Provide support with daily living tasks, promoting independence and active citizenship.
- Enable individuals to participate in their chosen activities and make decisions that matter to them.
Requirements
- Experience of working in social care or a related field (desirable but not essential).
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends, evenings, and on-call shifts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
