We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Practitioner to join our team at Scottish Autism. As an Autism Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with autism to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to meet the unique needs of each individual.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Autism Practitioner and team members to ensure high-quality support.
  • Provide support with daily living tasks, promoting independence and active citizenship.
  • Enable individuals to participate in their chosen activities and make decisions that matter to them.

Requirements

  • Experience of working in social care or a related field (desirable but not essential).
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends, evenings, and on-call shifts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to Scottish Autism's values: Collaboration, Compassion, Change Makers, and Contribution.
