About the Role

The Syndicate Compliance Manager will be responsible for implementing and delivering policies, processes, and reporting outputs aligned with the MA requirements. This includes supporting the Compliance Director to work with the MA of CFC Syndicate 1988 to ensure the Syndicate operates in accordance with FCA requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the relationship with the MA, including preparation for CFC Syndicate 1988 and internal CFC Board and Committee meetings
  • Ensuring CFC complies with all MA governance requirements, policies, procedures, training, disclosure, management information, and reporting requirements
  • Supporting the Compliance Director in the preparation of the Compliance and Risk Report for CFC Group and the preparation of the supporting pack

About You

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of the FCA handbook and/or Lloyds Principles, alongside the application of principles-based regulatory framework. Experience working in the London market, either with a managing agent, insurer, broker, or MGA, is essential. A candidate with experience working with delegated authorities and regulators, particularly Lloyd's focused, would be highly regarded.
