About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Outsourcing Services Lead to join our team at ProTalent Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in driving the growth and development of our outsourcing services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accountancy and experience in leading high-performing teams. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional client service, managing day-to-day operations, and implementing new processes and systems to improve efficiency.

About the JobKey Responsibilities:
  • Lead the operational delivery of our outsourcing reporting and compliance services, ensuring high-quality results and excellent client satisfaction.
  • Manage a team of professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Develop and implement standard policies and procedures to maintain consistency and quality in our services.
  • Prepare and review VAT returns in accordance with firm procedures, working closely with the central VAT team where necessary.
  • Ensure a high-quality payroll service is provided to clients, meeting their needs and expectations.
  • Produce accurate and insightful monthly bookkeeping and management accounts, identifying areas for improvement and adding value to clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest software and developments, championing technology within the team and leading the implementation of new systems as needed.
Requirements:
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with at least 5 years of post-qualification practice experience in providing similar services to clients.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting software, including QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • A commercial mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality services while controlling costs.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including a pension scheme, health insurance, and paid annual leave.
