Locum Heart Failure Cardiology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Cardiologist to join our team in Heart Failure at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work alongside our existing heart failure consultants, undertaking clinical and research activities, including overseeing out-patient and inpatient care, research, and audit.
Main Duties- Undertake clinical and research activities, including overseeing out-patient and inpatient care, research, and audit.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and review inpatient referrals.
- Work alongside the existing heart failure consultants in the Heart Division.
- Undertake ward rounds, on-call duties, and other aspects of care in the High Dependency Unit and in the outreach service.
The post will predominantly be located at the Royal Brompton Hospital site, London, with links to the Harefield Hospital site and other Trusts as agreed with the Chair of Heart Failure and the Director of Critical care.
Requirements- Full GMC Registration.
- Post CCT.
- Comprehensive experience in Cardiology.
- Ability to work as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Competent in general medical procedures.
- Good communication skills.
