Night Security Specialist

Your new role as a Night Security Specialist will involve ensuring the safety and security of our customers and buildings. You will be responsible for monitoring CCTV, updating service files, and using technology to manage our systems.

As a Night Concierge with Complex Care Needs, you will be the first point of contact for our customers when our wider team or their own support network are not available. You will need to be calm under pressure, have great communication skills, and be able to think on your feet.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Traveling between our 5 sites across Yeovil
  • Working nights on a four on four off rolling rota, 10pm to 7am
  • Managing the health and safety of the building, patrolling to check fire doors and ensuring everything is locked and secure
  • Thinking on your feet and managing situations on the spot, such as investigating suspicious activity or raising the alarm when necessary
  • Helping to maintain a clean and tidy environment, including using a mop or broom as needed

As a Vulnerable Customer Support Officer, you will be working for one of the Top 10 Great Places to Work in the UK. You will be part of a dedicated team that looks after the most vulnerable members of society.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Calm under pressure with great communication skills
  • Ability to support the most vulnerable in society, with a keen eye for detail and a sociable nature
  • Confidence to work alone, with the full backup of our wider team and out of hours emergency support team
  • Able to use technology to monitor CCTV, update service files, and manage our systems
