Salary:$65,000 - $80,000 per annum

Job Description:

As our ideal candidate, you will be responsible for managing the construction of a development, ensuring targets are met regarding health and safety, delivery to build programme quality, customer care, and cost.

You will be reporting to the Contracts Manager, overseeing the construction process from start to finish, guaranteeing that plots are built to the highest standard of quality.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring compliance with company health and safety standards, NHBC requirements, building regulations, and overall quality standards.
  • Monitoring and controlling production costs, approving payment to contractors and trades where appropriate.
  • Carrying out plot inspections with the Local Building Inspector or NHBC, taking corrective action to ensure minimum RIs/BRI's.
  • Leading by example, demonstrating good behavioural practices in health and safety, organisation, conduct, quality of work, and professionalism.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • A strong background in construction management, preferably with a Chartered Institute of Builders membership or NVQ level 5 qualification.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction, housebuilding, and relevant legislative requirements.
  • Proven leadership and assertive skills to drive optimum delivery to the highest quality standards.
