Key Responsibilities- Support multidisciplinary team clinics and joint dietitian-diabetes specialist nurse clinics.
- Provide education and support to children and their families to manage their diabetes.
- Advise patients on insulin pump therapy and carbohydrate counting.
- Develop and deliver structured education courses.
- Contribute to student training and participate in audit and research activities.
- Qualified Dietitian with a 4-year degree or equivalent.
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
- Leadership and management training.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work as part of a multi-professional team.
- Able to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Flexibility to meet the demands of the service.
- Able to travel to required areas within and beyond the Trust.
- Able to use a computer keyboard and relevant computer programmes.
We offer a competitive salary of £46,148 to £52,809 per annum pro rata, and a range of benefits including flexible working arrangements and opportunities for professional development.
