Job Title: Facades Design Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facades Design Manager to join our team at Inhabit Group. As a key member of our Design and Consultancy team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of building facades, ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of building facades, including 2D and 3D drafting using Autocad, Revit, Rhino, Solidworks, and/or Sketchup Pro.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that design solutions meet project requirements and client needs.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of building facade systems, including roofing, curtain walling, and structural framing systems.
  • Ensure that all design deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, buildability, and compliance.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff on design and engineering principles and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technical standards, and codes of practice to ensure that our designs are at the forefront of innovation and excellence.
Requirements:
  • Degree in a relevant subject such as architecture, civil/structural engineering, or architectural technology.
  • Proven experience in 3D drafting using Autocad, Rhino, Solidworks, and/or Sketchup Pro, Revit to develop 3D details for the purposes of design development.
  • Strong understanding of building facade systems, including roofing, curtain walling, and structural framing systems.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to travel to project sites and attend design workshops and meetings as required.
