About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at Universal Business Team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and managing existing accounts in the North of England.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Develop and nurture existing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and growing revenue.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives, including telesales, face-to-face meetings, and virtual presentations.
  • Account Management: Manage a portfolio of existing accounts, building strong relationships with clients and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Lead Generation: Generate new leads through prospecting, networking, and other sales activities.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a sales pipeline of new opportunities, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical advice and support to clients, ensuring they are fully satisfied with our products and services.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor activity, identifying opportunities to differentiate our business and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Performance Metrics: Track and analyze key performance metrics, including sales revenue, customer satisfaction, and sales pipeline growth.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience as a successful Sales Manager or Business Development Manager, with a strong track record of sales growth and account management.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Education: Ideally, a degree in a business-related field, such as marketing or sales.
  • Commercial Awareness: Strong commercial awareness and understanding of how operational KPIs impact financial performance.
  • Driving License: A clean UK driving license is essential for this role.
