Job Summary:
Shaw Trust is seeking an Employment Specialist to join our team. As an Employment Specialist, you will work with individuals with physical and/or mental health conditions to assist them in securing sustainable paid employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of individuals to provide person-centered advice and guidance.
- Deliver the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) approach to support individuals in securing employment.
- Build positive relationships with local employers and stakeholders to enable individuals to move into suitable employment.
Requirements:
- IPS delivery experience, preferably in a Primary care setting.
- Proven experience of supporting people to obtain or keep work.
- Proven experience of meeting and exceeding outcomes and targets.
Location: East Kent. This is not a home working position, and you will be required to spend 65% of your time working in person in the community.
