We are seeking an innovative and enthusiastic Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our Community Rehabilitation Service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with complex neurological conditions, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care.
Main Duties- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with complex neurological diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Liaise with the multidisciplinary team, specialist nursing staff, patients, carers, and other professionals involved in care provision.
- Initiate and make referrals to GPs, consultants, and other service professionals as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Work autonomously as a lone worker in the community, prioritizing workload and managing complex cases.

Person SpecificationWe are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist with:
- Essential qualifications: Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy, HCPC registration.
- Essential experience: At least 18 months of experience working as a Band 5 Occupational Therapist, previous experience of working in the UK or a similar health economy.
- Desirable qualifications: Membership of a special interest group.
