About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Financial Strategist to join our team at Wordbank LLC. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing all global financial elements, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.

This is an excellent opportunity to drive financial process improvements, streamline workflows, and enhance efficiency. You will work closely with our senior leaders, internal stakeholders, external accountants, business vendors, and in-country resources to ensure seamless financial operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial software, preparing and providing accurate and timely management accounts, and leading, mentoring, and developing the finance team. You will also ensure timely reporting and compliance with all statutory requirements, including US and UK tax filings and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Finance Processes and Strategy: Oversee all global financial elements, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
  • Management Accounts and Financial Software: Prepare and provide accurate and timely management accounts to guide business performance and strategy.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, promoting a culture of accountability and engagement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal teams, external accountants, clients, business vendors, and in-country resources to ensure seamless financial operations and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Statutory Requirements: Ensure timely reporting and compliance with all statutory requirements, including US and UK tax filings and audits.
