SEN Teacher Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team at a brand new Enhanced Learning Provision in a 2-form entry primary school in Croydon. The school is committed to providing a tailored environment for SEN students to thrive, and we are looking for a passionate and proactive individual to become a qualified SENCO.

About the Role:

  • Teach SEN students in a mainstream school setting
  • Collaborate with the SLT to develop schemes of work and reduce workload
  • Work with multiple support staff to manage behaviors and provide additional support
  • Participate in team goals and social opportunities
  • Have opportunities for career progression and professional development

  • Supportive SLT who are hands-on

About You:

  • Enthusiastic, energetic, and positive attitude
  • UK QTS
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of SEND and SEMH needs
  • Passionate about changing the lives of pupils with additional needs
