Job Title: Primary SEN Teacher

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Primary SEN Teacher to join our team at a special needs school in West London.

About the School:

The school is a thriving special school that caters to children and young people with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple difficulties, and autism.

About the Role:

As a Primary SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching and supporting students in a primary class setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and supporting students with SEN in a primary class setting
  • Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
  • Collaborating with other teachers and support staff to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive education for all students
  • Providing support and guidance to students with SEN in a primary class setting

Requirements:

  • QTS and a proven track record of teaching and supporting students with SEN
  • Experience of working with children who have SEN in either a mainstream or special school provision
  • Basic PECS, Makaton, TEACCH, and Team Teach skills (full training will be provided)
