Job Title: SEN Primary Teacher

We are seeking a qualified SEN Primary Teacher to join our team at a community special school in Greenwich, London.

About the Role

The school is looking for an ambitious SEN Primary Teacher who is keen to add value to their department. The ideal candidate will have experience engaging with KS2 children and managing behaviour.

The school has a total of 33 pupils and has been rated outstanding on their latest OFSTED report. The school is known for its enthusiastic and positive environment for both pupils and teachers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach SEN Primary students in a supportive and inclusive environment
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of KS2 children
  • Manage behaviour and maintain a positive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Education or a related field
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
  • Experience working with SEN students, particularly those with SEMH and ASD
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
