About the Role

We are seeking a part-time Site Manager or Caretaker to join our team at a mainstream primary school in Oxted, Surrey. The successful candidate will work 20 hours a week, 52 weeks per year, with a flexible schedule of Monday to Friday, 07.00-11.00.

The ideal candidate will have experience in site management or a related field, with a strong focus on health and safety, security, and facilities management. The role will involve managing contractors, planned works, and cleaning staff, as well as ensuring the security and safety of the school premises.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure the security and safety of the school premises, including opening up the site and conducting regular checks.
  2. Manage health and safety issues, working closely with the School Business Manager.
  3. Manage contractors and planned works at the site, ensuring timely completion and quality of work.
  4. Manage the cleaning staff, ensuring the school premises are maintained to a high standard.
