About the RoleWe are seeking a part-time Site Manager or Caretaker to join our team at a mainstream primary school in Oxted, Surrey. The successful candidate will work 20 hours a week, 52 weeks per year, with a flexible schedule of Monday to Friday, 07:00-11:00.
The ideal candidate will have experience in site management or a related field, with a strong focus on health and safety, security, and maintenance. The role will involve managing contractors, planned works, and cleaning staff, as well as ensuring the school premises are secure and safe for staff and children.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the security of the school premises, including opening up the site and checking it is safe for staff and children.
- Manage health and safety issues, working alongside the School Business Manager.
- Manage contractors and planned works at the site.
- Manage the cleaning staff of the school.
