About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at SeeAbility. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to individuals with complex needs, enabling them to participate in a wide range of activities.
  • Ensure good working practice, including understanding and awareness of health and safety.
  • Promote independence and develop life skills, while assisting with all tasks necessary to ensure positive life experiences.
  • Work positively with other agencies, parents, carers, and other services to ensure a person-centred approach.
  • Contribute to the development of records and support plans, and act as a Keyworker when required.
  • Support and maintain a clean-living environment, appropriate to meet individual needs.
  • Participate in regular and ongoing training, relevant to the individual's needs.
Requirements
  • Calm, patient, and resilient approach to supporting individuals with complex needs.
  • Ability to work positively with individuals, families, and other services.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures.
