We are seeking an experienced clinical associate research practitioner to join our Research and Innovation department at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, Glenfield hospital as part of the NIHR Biomedical Research Centre – Respiratory and Infection Theme.
Main Responsibilities:- Support current portfolio research staff in ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and consistency of data for reporting to regulatory bodies.
- Provide clinical support to patients in clinical trials, including taking samples, performing tests, and physical measurements in accordance with the clinical trial protocol and Good Clinical Practice.
- Coordinate and facilitate concurrent research studies, ensuring compliance with UHL Trust policies on data protection, confidentiality, and security.
- Work alongside Principle Investigators and the research team to assist in delivering a high-quality research service and ensuring the highest standard of care for research subjects.
- Minimum 2 years research experience or equivalent.
- Experience in respiratory and/or Infection specialty.
- Good IT skills, particularly in the use of Web applications and MS Office/database skills.
