Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily cash movement reports to ensure accurate financial records.
- Manage payments preparation, fund transfers, and issue trade confirmations to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in settlement amounts and reconcile cash breaks to maintain financial integrity.
- Maintain counterparties' information and SSI against in-house systems to ensure efficient operations.
- Participate in projects for new systems and product launches to drive business growth.
- Support the implementation of new products and system modifications by collaborating with the Head Office and IT teams.
- Collaborate with the Head Office and IT to ensure efficient department operations and provide coverage for other back-office functions as needed.
- Assist department members in handling operational issues and maintain effective communication with leadership.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin.
- Minimum 2 years' experience within a banking role, preferably in a commercial bank.
- Understanding of payments schemes (CHAPS and SWIFT) and the UK payment system, including Interbank Clearing, Nostro account reconciliations, and CHAPS processes.
- Experience in handling SWIFT operations and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
