Junior Credit Analyst

Handpicked Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Junior Credit Analyst to join their team in central London. As a Junior Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting the Board and Financial Analyst in ad-hoc projects and internal/external reporting, loan/lease facility monitoring, and reviewing onboarding applications for new corporate counterparties.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the development and implementation of credit risk management strategies
- Monitor and analyze credit risk exposure across various business units
- Review and approve loan/lease facility applications
- Screen counterparties for money laundering, sanctions, and other risks
- Assist in the management of the group credit insurance policy
- Conduct annual reviews of counterparties based on third-party credit reports
- Perform periodic reconciliations of large data sets
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a related field
- Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of basic statistics and data analysis
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
