Residential Youth Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Residential Youth Support Specialist to join our team at Horizon Care and Education. As a key member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in supporting young people in daily life within our homes.

About the Job:
  • YOU WILL PROVIDE SUPPORT: Supporting young people with their daily needs, including personal care, meal preparation, and housekeeping.
  • DEVELOPING LIFE SKILLS: Encouraging and assisting young people to develop essential life skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and time management.
Job Description:
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to young people, promoting positive relationships and encouraging independence.
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with young people, families, and other professionals.
  • Participating in regular team meetings and contributing to the development of care plans and strategies.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 6 months' experience working with young people in a residential setting.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care.
  • A flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
