About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Officer to join our team within Hampshire County Council Highways. As a key member of our team, you will provide general and technical support to the team managing the maintenance, improvement, and asset management functions of the highway network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take responsibility for Facility Management and Health and Safety within the Hook depot.
  • Prepare minutes from team meetings and develop excellent relationships with support staff working within the Highway Operation Centre, Engineers, and technical teams.
  • Support the technical team to manage their enquiries and feedback on resource issues and pressures to the Highway Operation Centre.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records and data to support the team's work.
