About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Officer to join our team within the Hampshire County Council Highways department. As a key member of our team, you will provide general and technical support to the team managing the maintenance, improvement, and asset management functions of the highway network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take responsibility for facility management and health and safety within the Hook depot.
  • Prepare minutes from team meetings and develop excellent relationships with support staff, engineers, and technical teams.
  • Support the technical team to manage enquiries and feedback on resource issues and pressures to the Highway Operation Centre.
  • Develop and maintain accurate data management systems.
