Job Description

Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent geology, environmental science, geoscience or environmental engineering graduate to join a Geo-Environmental team in a dynamic and innovative company.

You'll have the opportunity to work on a range of Ground Investigation and Contaminated Land projects in the North-West and Midlands, amongst multidisciplinary engineering teams, in order to develop skills and kickstart your career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with site walkovers and carry out site investigations
  • Oversee site investigations, soil and rock logging, and prepare phase plans
  • Carry out phase 1 Desktop Studies and write factual and interpretive reports
  • Work on in situ testing and groundwater and gas monitoring

Requirements

  • Minimum of a BSc in geology, physical geography, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, environmental science or a relevant subject (MSc preferable)
  • Keen to learn and develop geo-environmental skills
  • Enthusiasm for working outdoors in a hands-on role
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Commutable to Leeds
  • Full right to work in the UK
