Job Summary: We are seeking a recent graduate with a degree in geology, environmental science, geoscience, or environmental engineering to join our Geo-Environmental team in Leeds. As a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects, including Ground Investigation and Contaminated Land, and develop your skills in a multidisciplinary engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with site walkovers and carry out site investigations.
  2. Oversee soil and rock logging, prepare phase plans, and conduct phase 1 Desktop Studies.
  3. Develop skills in writing factual and interpretive reports, groundwater and gas monitoring, and in situ testing.
  4. Work with a specialist team of engineers and have opportunities for career progression.

Requirements:

  1. A minimum of a BSc in geology, physical geography, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, environmental science, or a relevant subject (MSc preferable).
  2. Keen to learn and develop geo-environmental skills.
  3. Enthusiasm for working outdoors in a hands-on role.
  4. A full UK driving licence.
  5. Commutable to Leeds.
  6. Full right to work in the UK.
