Key Responsibilities
  • Develop technical and project management skills, including contaminated land assessment and solutions, as part of a rapidly growing team.
  • Conduct scoping and reviewing of Preliminary Risk Assessments and Intrusive Ground investigations, utilizing current ground investigation, sampling, and laboratory analysis techniques.
  • Understand contaminated land legislation and planning regime to provide geo-environmental ground investigation scoping and generic risk assessment.
  • Possess a good understanding of geology, ground models, and geotechnical engineering.
  • Deliver projects and work within a multi-disciplinary consultancy, with awareness of structural and civil capabilities.
  • Be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite and well-informed on the most up-to-date contaminated land guidance and risk assessment tools.
  • Demonstrate good communication skills, both verbal and written, along with commercial awareness and strong team working/interpersonal skills.
Requirements
  • A relevant degree in Geology/Geo-environmental/Earth Sciences is essential.
