We are seeking a Finance and Investment Committee Member to join the University of Exeter's leadership team. As a key advisor to the Council, you will provide expert guidance on financial matters, helping us make informed decisions about investments and resource allocation.

About the Job

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of financial expertise. You will work closely with the University's finance team to develop and implement financial strategies, ensuring the organization remains financially stable and secure.

Salary: £100,000-£130,000 per annum. This reflects the level of experience and expertise required for this role.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of finance, accounting, and investing, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the University.

  • Experience in senior finance roles, with a focus on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • An understanding of strategic planning, risk management, and governance
