Job Summary

The East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Engagement Advisor to join its Wellbeing and Inclusion Team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your experience in staff engagement and health and wellbeing, and to play a key role in supporting the Trust's People Strategy.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of the Trust's People Strategy, with a particular focus on staff engagement, health, and wellbeing.
  • Work closely with the Senior Wellbeing and Inclusion Advisor to develop and implement key projects and initiatives, including the annual joint flu and Covid-19 vaccination campaign.
  • Develop and review key policies and procedures relating to staff engagement and health and wellbeing.
  • Coordinate and take minutes/actions arising from the Occupational Health Service Review meeting.
  • Support the contract monitoring of the Occupational Health and Wellbeing Services contract to ensure it is being delivered to the service specification.
  • Lead the Trust's annual staff survey/pulse survey process, working with divisional/service area HR Teams to co-ordinate the process and develop and implement local action plans.
  • Work in partnership with the Communications Team to promote health and wellbeing, staff survey, pulse survey, and other initiatives to enhance staff engagement and promote positive health and wellbeing of the workforce.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have a CIPD qualification (or be prepared to study), and will have experience of operating in an operational HR/wellbeing environment. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage and prioritise their own workload.
