The East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Engagement and Wellbeing Advisor to join its Wellbeing and Inclusion Team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing a comprehensive and professional wellbeing and inclusion service to the Trust's managers and employees.

Key responsibilities will include advising on staff engagement matters, developing key policies and procedures, and supporting the delivery of the Trust's People Strategy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of operating in an operational HR/wellbeing environment and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Main Duties

  • Support the delivery of the Trust's People Strategy with a focus on staff engagement, health, and wellbeing.
  • Develop and review key policies and procedures relating to staff engagement/health and wellbeing.
  • Coordinate and take minutes/actions arising from the Occupational Health Service Review meeting.
  • Support the contract monitoring of the Occupational Health and Wellbeing Services contract.
  • Lead the Trust's annual staff survey/pulse survey process.
  • Work in partnership with the Communications Team to promote health and wellbeing initiatives.

The post holder will be actively engaged in supporting the annual NHS Staff Survey, Pulse Surveys, and the Joint Flu and Covid-19 Vaccination campaigns. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, be able to communicate and build relationships with a variety of stakeholders, and have a genuine commitment to improving people practices within the Trust.
