We are seeking an experienced Ecological Engagement Specialist to join our team at the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the delivery of our Biodiversity Plan by engaging with external and internal stakeholders over biodiversity opportunity site development and data sharing.

The Ecological Engagement Specialist will work closely with our consultancies to develop biodiversity improvement opportunities with third parties and support the collection and management of GIS data about biodiversity sites. This will involve stakeholder relationship management, including developing relationships with Government Bodies, Charities, Local Species Groups, Community Groups, and Landowners.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ecological principles and a proven track record of engaging with stakeholders to achieve conservation goals. They will also have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
