Clinical/Counselling Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our Community Mental Health Team in Slough and the wider Berkshire area.
As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of mental health care, working closely with GPs and primary care colleagues to bridge the gap between primary and secondary care.
This is an exceptional opportunity to be at the forefront of the Mental Health Integrated Community Service (MHICS), a groundbreaking initiative within the Trust's Community Mental Health Transformation program.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the Trust's Community Mental Health Transformation initiative, working closely with GPs and primary care colleagues to improve mental health services.
- Provide clinical supervision and training to psychological therapy trainees and qualified staff.
- Develop and lead the delivery of training programs and supervision, ensuring high-quality services for patients.
- Work collaboratively with the team to evaluate services and implement changes that improve patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with service users, their families, carers, and other professional colleagues, both within and outside the NHS.
- Doctoral qualification in clinical or counselling psychology and Registered Practitioner Clinical/Counselling Psychologist with the Health and Care Professional Council (HCPC).
- Clinical supervision training for psychological therapy trainees and qualified staff.
- Significant experience working as a qualified clinical/counselling psychologist, including demonstrable post-qualification experience at a highly specialist level in the related specialisms.
- An enhanced DBS check.
