Financial Administrator Temporary Position

Company Overview: We are a leading recruitment agency, providing temporary and permanent staffing solutions to businesses across various industries.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Financial Administrator to join our team on a temporary basis. As a Financial Administrator, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, providing administrative support to our finance team, and maintaining financial databases.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage financial transactions daily, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  2. Provide administrative support to the finance team, including cash allocation and reporting to the Finance Manager.
  3. Process and code all financial transactions onto the internal database system on the day of receipt.
  4. Maintain financial databases (Perfect forms/In-File), ensuring all transactions are logged correctly with relevant supporting documentation attached.
  5. Send a weekly report of all financial transactions to internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Reconcile transactions logged with our 3rd party logistics provider with financial transactions on perfect forms to ensure no discrepancies.
  7. Work closely with the finance team to ensure all transactions are accounted for and not outstanding for lengthy periods.
  8. Assist with general administration work for the finance team, including cash allocation and preparation of remits.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in key software to intermediate level - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Willingness to take ownership and responsibility for core tasks.
  • Structured and organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Proven track record in resolving complex issues and problem solving.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with people at different levels.
