About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of MIS and Funding to join our Senior Leadership Team at Derby College Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the MIS, reporting, and exams teams, and will play a critical role in enhancing our business intelligence processes and ensuring funding compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of the College's digital reporting strategy in collaboration with the Director of IT.
  • Provide inspirational leadership to 3 direct reports and over 30 employees across the MIS, reporting, and exams teams.
  • Drive improvements to deliver innovative reporting solutions, robust information systems, and streamline business processes.
  • Ensure funding compliance, returns, and audits for the Group's £52million funding.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have strong technical knowledge and experience in the development of BI/reporting solutions for a range of stakeholders. You will be an experienced and innovative leader who is adept at change management and inspiring teams to drive excellent performance.
