**Hours: 37 hours per week (Full Time, part time or flexible working considered)**

**Salary Grade D: £24,702 to £27,334 per year (pro rata for part-time working)**

**Location: Ilkeston Town Hall, Wharncliffe Road, Ilkeston, Derbyshire, DE7 5RP**

An exciting opportunity is available for a highly motivated and committed individual to join Erewash Borough Council’s Community Health and Wellbeing Development Team.

This is a key and fulfilling role where the successful individual will be required to engage with community groups, organisations and other key partners to develop, drive and promote initiatives to encourage people to lead healthier and active lives within the Petersham and Cotmanhay areas of the borough.

A culture exists within Community Health and Wellbeing Development where continual professional development through training and learning will be supported and encouraged.

Hours of work will mainly be daytime working but may include occasional evenings, weekends and during holiday periods.

*This post is temporary for 12 months funded through external grant funding and, whilst further extensions to this post cannot be guaranteed by the council, the Community Health & Wellbeing Development team strives to continually secure external grant funding to ensure services remain operational.
