About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of MIS and Funding to join our Senior Leadership Team at Derby College Group. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading the MIS, reporting, and exams teams, and providing inspirational leadership to 3 direct reports and over 30 employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership to the MIS, reporting, and exams teams, driving improvements to deliver innovative reporting solutions, robust information systems, and streamlined business processes.
  • Lead on the development and implementation of the College's digital reporting strategy in collaboration with the Director of IT.
  • Ensure funding compliance, returns, and audits for the Group's £52million funding.
  • Build strong working relationships with a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders, collaborating to ensure the curriculum strategy optimises funding and maximises outcomes for students.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have strong technical knowledge and experience in the development of BI/reporting solutions for a range of stakeholders, including Governors, Senior Managers, and Curriculum teams. You will be an experienced and innovative leader, adept at change management and inspiring teams to drive excellent performance.
