**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Residential Care Specialist to join our team at Service Care Solutions.

In this role, you will provide day-to-day support for children aged 8-17 in our Residential Care setting on the Wirral. You will lead on shift, make informed decisions, and support colleagues to develop their skills and knowledge.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on shift and make informed decisions to ensure the well-being and safety of the young people in our care.
  • Develop and implement activity plans that nurture children's wellbeing, learning, and growth.
  • Support children's physical and emotional health, including medical appointments and administering first aid when needed.
  • Identify and address risks to children's welfare, in line with company policies.

**Essential Requirements:

  • Experience working in children's residential care with 8-17-year-olds.
  • At least 1 year of experience in working in children's residential care with children and young people.
  • A full driving license (preferred).
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Care (or equivalent).
