HR Support Specialist

Reed is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Administrator to provide support to our client in the North Down area. This is a part-time, fixed-term contract opportunity that will provide additional support to the HR team while they implement new HR systems.
The Role:
- As an HR Administrator, you will assist the HR Manager in maintaining accurate and up-to-date filing systems, both manual and electronic.
- Provide administrative support for the day-to-day operational needs of the business, including updating standard documentation for all employees throughout the employment cycle.
- Coordinate recruitment campaigns and assist with the administration of job postings.
- Support the creation of HR reports, presentations, proposals, charts, and surveys using Microsoft Office packages.
- Liaise with recruitment agencies and maintain recruitment platforms.
- Provide administrative support for the induction and onboarding of new employees.
- Update and maintain training records and the training database.
Essential Criteria:
- At least 1 year's experience in HR administration
- Good understanding and working knowledge of GDPR
- Good numeracy and literacy skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel
- Well-organized with strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Desirable:
This temporary role would be ideal for someone in the early stages of completing an HR qualification and with a knowledge of employment law legislation.
Hourly rate: £12 per hour
Working hours: up to 16-20 hours per week (flexible on days and times within core 9-5 structure)
